Welcome to NLTS '26, hosted by the Department of Civil Engineering at Er. Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering (PMC Tech). This symposium is a premier gathering of young minds to showcase their technical prowess, innovative ideas, and practical skills.
Whether you are designing a complex bridge structure, presenting a research paper on sustainable concrete, or surveying terrain, NLTS 26 offers the perfect stage to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Paper Presentation
Present your innovative ideas and research in civil engineering. Topics include green building, advanced surveying, and structural mechanics.

CADD Quest (AutoCAD)
Test your drafting speed and accuracy. Participants will be given a floor plan or structural detail to replicate within a strict time limit.
Bridge The Gap
Design and construct a bridge using popsicle sticks and glue. The bridge bearing the maximum load wins the contest.
Con-Quiz-Tador (Tech Quiz)
A rapid-fire technical quiz covering core civil engineering concepts, recent technological advancements, and iconic structures worldwide.
Survey Hunt
A unique treasure hunt. Use basic surveying instruments (like compass and measuring tapes) to crack clues and find the hidden benchmark.
Mystery Build (Non-Tech)
Take a break from heavy academics! A fun, surprise on-the-spot team building challenge using scrap materials. Creativity is key.

10:00 AMParallel sessions begin in Seminar Hall A and the CAD Lab.
